Welcoming Dachshund Advocates in Alberta
The Alberta Dachshund Club (ADC) is a Canadian Kennel Club (CKC)–recognized provincial specialty club in Alberta devoted to celebrating and protecting purebred Dachshunds in all six varieties—standard smooth, standard wire‑haired, standard long‑haired, miniature smooth, miniature wire‑haired, and miniature long‑haired. Our purpose is to preserve the breed’s natural instincts, structure, and temperament by upholding a standard of excellence embraced by our membership and approved by the CKC. We are committed to educating the public about this wonderful breed, serving as a trusted contact for anyone seeking information about Dachshunds, connecting the public with registered breeders, and supporting those interested in learning more about the many dog sports and activities available to this versatile breed. Above all, we strive to foster a community where members uphold the highest breed and health standards in Canada.
